SIX WEEKS AWAY -- REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
It's hard to believe that this event is just over six weeks away! Be reminded that we only have 50 seats available.
We have an exciting slate of 13 presentations for the first ever Central Pennsylvania Shortlines RPM. Many of our presenters are published authors. Here is our fantastic schedule...
https://meet.pennsyrr.com/index.php/schedule
We'll kick off at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 14th, and run through 9 p.m., with a break for dinner.
On Saturday, July 15th, presentations run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with breaks for lunch and dinner.
Between presentations, enjoy our host venue, the Bricktown Museum. The crew has been hard at work on their HO scale layout representing not only the East Broad Top but also the PRR main line from Mount Union through Huntingdon.
Bring your models representing the short lines in central Pennsylvania! We'll have a designated display area. There is no judging at RPM events, so feel comfortable to bring your models to share your approach.
On Sunday, July 16th, both the Broad Top Area Coal Miners Museum and the Friends of the East Broad Top Mseum will be open from 9 a.m. until noon. Both are located in Robertsdale.
We then plan to be on the 1 p.m. excursion of the East Broad Top Railroad (additional cost). Upon receipt of your registration, you will be e-mailed a code for reservations. Only 50 seats are reserved for our group, but the deadline is June 15th for a guaranteed seat!
Registration for the event is $25 and will be limited to 50 attendees plus staff and clinicians. To register, download the form at https://meet.pennsyrr.com/index.php/registration and mail it in.
If you are on FaceBook, please follow our page. We hope to see you there!

We have a great venue in the Bricktown Museum and the crew has been hard at work on their HO scale layout representing not only the East Broad Top but also the PRR main line from Mount Union through Huntingdon. There will be plenty of time between clinics to see the layout in operation.
We'll kick off at 1 p.m. on Friday and run through 9 p.m.
Unable to find model railroads for open houses, we've added two more clinic slots on Saturday. Clinics will now run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
As of this writing, we have 10 of 12 clinic spots filled. If you would like to present a clinic, please contact Jerry Britton at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
On Sunday, both the Broad Top Area Coal Miners Museum and the Friends of the East Broad Top Museum have agreed to hold special hours for our group, from 9 a.m. until noon. Both are located in Robertsdale.
We then plan to be on the 1 p.m. excursion of the East Broad Top Railroad.
So please put the CPS RPM on your calendar for July 14-16, 2023. Registration is $25 and will be limited to 50 attendees plus staff and clinicians.
Matthew will be at RPM East in Youngwood, Pa., March 24-25th and will be taking advanced registrations. Online registration will open in May.
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
We have an exciting slate of 13 presentations. We had planned on 12, but after filling the last slot we located the definitive authority on the Kishacoquillas Valley so we had to add him in. Too many clinics is a good problem to have!

Saturday evening we hope to have layout open houses. So far, we have only been able to arrange one, and that is Lee Rainey's in nearby State College.
