Jerry Britton and Matthew Hurst are pleased to announce the Central Pennsylvania Shortlines Railroad Prototype Modelers meet (CPS RPM) to be held on July 14-16, 2023 in Mount Union, Pa. The Bricktown Museum will host and co-sponsor this year’s event.

A Railroad Prototype Modelers meet brings together like-minded people to discuss prototype railroads and the scale modeling of those railroads. The CPS RPM focuses on the many shortlines in the central Pennsylvania area, notably the Bellefonte Central, East Broad Top, Huntingdon & Broad Top Mountain, and the Kishacoquillas Valley.

The event will include clinics, scale model displays, model railroad open houses, and probably an excursion on Sunday. Please watch the CPS RPM web site at https://meet.pennsyrr.com for updates.

At this time we are encouraging potential speakers to contact us.  Also, related model railroads within a 60-minute drive of Mount Union are desired for open houses on Saturday evening. Please contact the staff via the web site.

Clinic, open house, and excursion information will be posted as it becomes available. Registration will open in the spring. Until then, SAVE THE DATE!
